Does this make sense?
A group of young schoolboys crowded around a mysterious object. It lay buried in the overgrown lawn of a house on a quiet road. In the bright sun, a glimpse of crimson and gold was visible through the slight opening in the group.
“Let go! I found it first,” said one boy, his face hidden under a baseball cap.
“No! It’s my bike!” said a younger boy, his eyes filling with tears.
They were brawling over a vintage bicycle that sat glistening in the sunlight.
A large, red truck stood parked outside the house while three men dressed in light blue shirts laboriously loaded the inside with rustic furniture.
Nobody seemed to notice the bickering circle of schoolboys.

“slight opening in the group” is fine to me. Its the “buried in the overgrown lawn” that doesn’t make sense. I mean, it’s a bike! that’s got to be some damn tall grass!
